in its 17th edition, publifestival – the international award-show of social advertising - has named krieen “agency with best focus on healthcare 2023” due to our 4 awarded projects in the pharmaceutical industry. these include “best execution in healthcare”, “best social value in healthcare” and “best originality and creativity in web commercials”, recognizing krieen’s unique “sustainable creativity” approach, that consists of creating big ideas that last for years, even decades, empowering sustainable and social brand building. the awards ceremony took place at caixaforum madrid.

the case study “believe in life”, our decade-long work for the pharmaceutical company galenicum, has been named “best execution in healthcare”. this highlights the strategic and creative work done for more than 10 years in thousands of communication initiatives in more than 40 countries, helping galenicum become a world-renowned brand in the pharmaceutical industry.

our commercial “change for health” has been named “best originality in web commercials”. the brand video is the cornerstone of the europe-wide medical cannabis awareness campaign for neuraxpharm we are deploying since its launch in october 2022. in the commercial, we showcase a diverse group of patients representing, through contemporary dance, a wide range of diseases treatable with medical cannabis.

within galenicum’s business ecosystem, our work for the spanish laboratory galenicumderma - the 360º brand umbrella “caress life” has been named “best social value in healthcare”. this acknowledges more than 7 years of work for the brand and how we helped them become patient-centred through outstanding efforts to break down stereotypes about dermatological diseases in our society and increase their visibility across all channels.

the social media campaign “desescóndete” (“don’t hide”) we created for galenicumderma’s acne range was named “best creativity in web commercials”. the campaign empowers an acne-positive movement among teenagers in the increasingly “beautified” environment of social media, which can negatively affect their self-esteem and mental health.

“publifestival” awards the best work in advertising and communication with an inherent social cause. in our work, this translates into overarching patient-centricity and social commitment, basic values of krieen’s ”sustainable creativity” that are present in all projects we lead in the healthcare industry.

this commercial is the centerpiece of the europe-wide awareness campaign “change for health” we have created for neuraxpharm, which encourages people to rethink their preconceptions about medical cannabis. the campaign revolves around the big idea “if we turn our back on medical cannabis, we turn our back on millions of patients”. we are implementing it across all communication initiatives for patients, doctors and pharmacies.

based on galenicum’s “believe in life” brand soul, we created “caress life” for its dermatological business unit galenicumderma. eversince, we have been applying this positioning across all brand touchpoints, from packaging design to product campaigns for doctors, pharmacies and patients, positioning the brand in the spanish market. our patient-focused approach is present throughout all communication initiatives, in which we chose to show the skin disease in an optimistic and real environment to help normalize them.

desescóndete


the campaign “desescóndete” (“don’t hide”) we created for galenicumderma’s acne product range “acnium” and “probiac” empowers an acne-positive movement among teenagers in social media. after 2 years of the pandemic, many teenagers are afraid to take off their face mask. why? insecurity, imperfections, and above all... pimples. we want them to show their skin as it is, without hiding pimples or smiles anymore. we do so by showing a cast of real-life teenagers without make-up on, in an authentic environment, just being themselves.
